I have a very long document (a book) that I wrote collaboratively in Google Docs. Bringing it into Word, this great explanation gets me most of the way to where I want to go. But it strips out the underlying font, any bold or italization, etc. How can I just change the color and remove the underline of all the hyperlinks w/o changing anything else? By going to File -> Options -> Customize Ribbon -> Keyboard shortcuts, I was able to apply ctrl+k to change the font color of my notes on Microsoft Word on my laptop [I write my reading notes in black and change the color to blue when the teacher goes over it in lecture]. NOTE: The actual command is called "FontColor". This is set in the Style for your text. Assuming you are using Normal style, follow these steps: In Word, right-click on Normal in Home>Style Gallery and choose Modify. In the bottom left corner, click on Format, then Font. (Note to other readers, you must have both a Western and Asian language enabled to follow this step.) At the top of the When you create a custom table style, Word lets you choose fonts and paragraph settings for the table definition, except they never actually work (in my experience). When you insert a table and apply the custom style, the font family, point size, line, line spacing, paragraph after, etc., doesn't follow the table style definitions; it uses Method 1 – Modify the Line Number Font. Follow the steps mentioned below –. Open the “Styles” window on your Word document. To do this, simply press “Alt + Ctrl + Shift + S”. This will open the “Styles” window. Or, drag your mouse cursor over to the “Home” tab on the Ribbon and click on it. Please do this: -Highlight the text> Right-click on the highlighted text> Select Font: to see font properties> Select The type of Font under Font for both Latin text and Complex script> select set the default> select for only this document. If the issue persists, you may need to do the following: 1. Open a new Blank document and then copy the The font size in my comments has gotten uncomfortably small all of a sudden, and I have tried the method commonly recommended here, which is to change the style settings through the style panel. Even if I change the font size for the 'comment text' style to 48, the actual size does not budge. Worse, when I click on the text itself, the font In the Modify Style dialog, don’t try to change the font directly (I tried it; it doesn’t work); instead, click Format | Font… In the Font dialog, don’t change the font; instead, clear the Font, Font style, and Size boxes by selecting the contents and pressing Delete. Click OK twice to close the Font and Modify Style dialogs.
